Hamilton volunteers give back to city’s homeless

A group of volunteers set up an outdoor market for Hamilton’s homeless that offered free clothes and warm meals to those in need on Sunday afternoon.

Volunteers have been spreading the word all week by handing out flyers at homeless shelters and on the streets. They hoped to welcome at least 150 people in need.

After a successful turnout, the group has plans to organize this outdoor market on a monthly basis.
