Hamilton launch point for new Bell network
Bell has announced it will launch Canada’s first 700 Mhz LTE network in Hamilton.
Bell spent nearly $560 million for 31 licenses during a spectrum auction earlier this year. This would mean coverage for rural areas and better signal quality in basements and elevators. Bell says 98 per cent of existing smart devices are compatible.
The first rollout will begin across most of Hamilton mountain.
