Hamilton Airport sketches out new cargo facility
Hamilton International Airport has released details of its $12 million air cargo logistics facility set to open in 2015.
The facility will have multiple trucking docks and specialized handling environments. It will also cater to a number of niche product markets including pharmaceutical and biomedical industries.
The new facility will focus on the efficient movement of goods in and out of Southern Ontario. The airport will be releasing more details about construction of the facility in the coming weeks. It’s expected to generate hundreds of jobs and more traffic and revenue for the airport.
