Getting ready for Black Friday
Canadian retailers are working even harder to keep you spending money in their stores this coming Black Friday.
Traditionally the day after American thanksgiving is the kickoff to holiday shopping in the U.S., and a lot of Canadians armed with an above-par loonie in recent years have been tempted to cross the border to look for deals. But now retailers on this side of the border are offering similar shopping incentives to keep you in Canada. Lisa Hepfner is at Lime Ridge Mall, one of nine Cadillac Fairview malls in Ontario that will open early on Friday.
