Flight attendants to talk contract
The Federal Labour Minister is inviting Air Canada and flight attendants to a meeting early next week if they can’t hammer out a tentative agreement over the weekend.
Specific details of when and where the meeting would take place haven’t been finalized.
Labour Minister Lisa Raitt says she hopes the two sides can reach a deal without her involvement and avoid a strike by almost 7,000 flight attendants.
