Faking an illness

Two of the more disturbing news stories in recent weeks have been those of Ashley Kirilow and Jessica-Ann Leeder.

These two young Ontario women have both pleaded guilty in separate cases where they pretended to have cancer and collected donations. Dr Jose Mejia is the head of forensic psychiatry at the University of Western Ontario and he joined Lisa Hepfner to explain why this goes on.
