HAPPENING NOW:
Explore the Tunnel at the Niagara Falls Power Station

Tim visited “The Tunnel” at the Niagara Parks Power Station. He started his experience in the Generator Hall of the power station where he learned the history of the station and how it was operated before being decommissioned.
After descending down the elevator at the Niagara Parks Power Station, an open glass view in the elevator allows guests to check out some of the turbines and infrastructure built in the early 1900s before emerging at the mouth of the tunnel. Tim learns more about the history of the tunnel before starting the walk deeper into the attraction.
After walking the 2200 feet of the tunnel, guests emerge at the lower Niagara river where a 65 foot viewing platform provides an entirely different view of the falls.
