A lab in Winnipeg has announced a huge breakthrough in treating the deadliest virus on earth: ebola.

Monkeys deliberately infected with it at the national microbiology lab have been successfully saved with a cocktail of antibodies.

Ebola is a viral fever that causes severe bleeding.

There have been sporadic outbreaks of it in Africa.
