Doctors says get kids flu shot

Believe it or not … flu season is right around the corner.

Doctors in the United States are urging parents to prepare by getting their children vaccinated.

Even if they got a flu shot last year, the American Academy of Pediatrics is recommending they get another dose this fall.

This year’s vaccine is identical to last year’s, but children lose about half of their immunity over the course of a year.

That is why annual vaccination is recommended.
