A child’s asthma may be made worse by where you live.

A study shows at least 8% of childhood asthma cases can be attributed to traffic-related pollution at homes within 75 metres of a busy road.

There’s also evidence urban air pollution might also affect chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart disease and lung cancer.
