C. Difficile outbreak at Juravinski
The Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton is dealing with a C. Difficile outbreak.
Hamilton Health Sciences declared the outbreak in unit C4, the Inpatient Hematology Unit. Five cases have been diagnosed in the last 28 days. While C4 is still open, the hospital says enhanced infection prevention and control measures have now been implemented. There are no deaths being reported in association with this outbreak.
