Burger Shack updating
The owners of a burger shack in Caledonia are co-operating with Haldimand’s health unit to bring their food stand up to health standards.
The health unit was about to seek a contempt of court charge against the shack operators for not following the court and public health orders to shut down. This was over food storage and preparation concerns. The lawyer for the shack owners say they want their customers to be safe. There is still a disagreement by Six Nations over who has jurisdiction on the property because it is part of a disputed native land claim.
