Brantford’s Wescast to be purchased
An auto parts company out of China plans to buy Brantford-based Wescast Industries.
Sichuan Bohong Industry will buy the exhaust manifold maker for $79.6 million.
The transaction is valued reight now at about $13.60 a share.
However, Wescast shares gained $2.27 per share or about 24% Tuesday after a trading halt was lifted following the announcement.
