Brantford doctor wins award

A Brantford doctor is this year’s recipient of the Elizabeth Latimer Prize in palliative care.

Over the past 11 years, Dr. Bernadette McNeil has supported hospice palliative care in Brantford and Brant County.

She also has close ties to McMaster Children’s Hospital.

The award’s named in honour of Latimer, the Canadian pioneer and international palliative care physician and educator at McMaster University.
