Boxing a concern for teen health

Hockey isn’t the only sport that has health officials worried about head injuries.

A new report by Canadian and American Pediatricians says children and teens should stay away from boxing.

Doctors say underage athletes are more vulnerable to concussions and brain injury.

This makes boxing especially dangerous, because athletes are rewarded for deliberate hits to the head.

About 2,000 children between the ages of eleven and sixteen are registered to box in Canada.
