Blood pressure medication recall

Health Canada is expanding the recall on certain medications used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure.

Eight additional Valsartan medications are being recalled as a precautionary measure, because the drugs could contain a potential carcinogen that can cause cancer with long-term exposure.
