Basil recall
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning the public to not consume two dried basil products due to a salmonella contamination risk.
The Shah Trading Company in Scarborough has voluntarily recalled the products that are distributed to Quebec, Ontario and Manitoba.
There have been no reported illnesses related to the dried basil brands so far.
The affected brands are All Season’s Basil Rubbed and Jardi’s Basil Product.
