Auto makers aiming to discharge sticker shock at pumps
Gas prices are expected to rise more than a penny and a half come tomorrow morning – bringing the price in Niagara, Hamilton, Burlington and the Toronto area to around $122.6 a litre.
And it doesn’t look like that price is going to drop by much any time soon. The days of 90 cents a litre seem to be long gone — and wages are staying the same.
That has commuters looking at their options, and car makers are hoping their new models will shock – in a good way. Kate Carnegie explains.
