It’s likely one of the most searched items on the internet in the last two days; who else is on the Ashley Madison list released by hackers?
Emails connected to entry level Canadian government officials are allegedly on the list, along with emails connected to people in the armed forces and the RCMP.
Hacker group, Impact Team, threatened Ashley Madison that if it did not shut its cheating website down, it would release the 35 million plus user names, email addresses, credit card information and more personal data.
About 7200 people were downloading the list in the middle of the afternoon, which is higher than most Hollywood movies when they first become available.
The list can only be found on the dark web and you need to be very computer literate.
