HAPPENING NOW:
Another downgrade for Greece
As expected — the Fitch Rating Agency downgraded Greece Tuesday because of its debt.
The downgrade is to a “C” from CCC.
Analysts expect other rating agencies to follow suit.
Earlier this week, the Greek government said it may enforce losses on government bond holders who don’t voluntarily sign up for a debt swap plan.
The government must complete a swap of private holdings of its debt, as part of its $170 billion dollar bailout plan.
