AIDS research road map
AIDS specialists have released what they call a road map for research toward a cure for HIV.
It plans for teams around the world to explore a number of intriguing leads that just might come to fruition years from now.
The announcement comes just before the international AIDS conference on Sunday, which includes more than 20,000 scientists, activists and policy makers.
Globally, it’s estimated there are 34 million people infected with AIDS.
