People who are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease after 80 may have a less aggressive form of the disease.

Researchers found people diagnosed in their sixties and seventies lost brain tissue and cognitive skills faster than those who were not diagnosed until their 80’s.

Experts say this could have a significant impact on Alzheimer’s drug trials.
