3 simple tips to help you stay productive and organized

Having trouble staying motivated and organized?
Productivity coach Clare Kumar joined Lesley Stewart on Morning Live to share three tips to help.
“Our world has stopped and started so many times in the past two years,” Kumar said. “It’s been increasingly challenging to hold onto routines that might have worked for us, nevermind start new ones.”
How to Stay Productive and Organized
The first strategy Kumar recommended was using a planner.
“Whether you’re using a paper planner or a bullet journal, make sure you’re capturing your intentions and relating them to time,” she said.
“That will help bring your focus to what you want to achieve.”
The next tip for improving your productivity is investing in a smart watch.
Kumar said she uses a Fitbit watch from Staples Canada to set reminders, track her steps and manage her time.
“I use it to pull my focus towards something I need to remember,” she said.
Kumar also noted that the trait of high sensitivity affects one in five people, including people with ADHD, dyslexia and autism, among others.
When it comes to highly sensitive people, she recommended creating an environment and choosing tools that are calming.
