The Oakville Film Festival is celebrating 11 years as Oakville’s only independent film festival. Running seven days from June 19th – 25th, the festival features 104 specially curated Canadian local, and international narrative and documentary films, as well as short films and web series.

Wendy Donnan, lead programmer for the festival and Leonard Farlinger, producer of the film ‘Kipkemboi’, joined us to chat about the festival.

Farlinger’s film ‘Kipkemboi’ will be presented as the Opening Night Film and be accompanied by a performance by award winning Kenyan Canadian singer songwriter Adam Solomon on June 20th.
