More charges for accused murderer

Police say an on-going homicide investigation has led to more charges for Cassel Farnsworth; the 19 year old charged with first degree murder and arson in July.

Farnsworth was charged after the body of 19 year-old Maddie Hood was found, following a fire in her St.Catharines basement apartment.

Police say the additional charges are not related to the homicide, but to a young female victim.

Farnsworth now faces several charges including luring a child under the age of 16, luring a child under 18, invitation to sexual touching, and exposure.

He remains in custody.
