Mohawk College received $400,000 from OVIN to start this program.
“Our government will continue to invest in innovative projects that help people get the skills they need to land better jobs with bigger pay cheques in the auto industry,” says Monte McNaughton, Ontario’s Minister of Labour.
The program also connects local high school students with employers in the automotive skilled trades and technology industries.
Caroline Mulroney, Ontario’s Minister of Transportation, says the programs offered by OVIN are critical to ensuring the province has skilled workers needed to fill the jobs of today and tomorrow.
