Modi scolds Trudeau over Sikh protests in Canada against India

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his concerns to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over Canada’s handling of the Punjabi independence movement.

A statement says Modi spoke with Trudeau about the matter on the sidelines of this weekend’s G20 summit in New Delhi.

Modi also reportedly called on Canada to work with India on what they deem a threat to the Canadian Indian Diaspora.
