Mississauga real estate agent charged with sexual assault

A 33-year-old man from Milton has been arrested after a victim was allegedly sexually assaulted during a real estate meeting in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police said the victim met with the accused sometime in August in the area of Hurontario St. and Eglinton Ave. West to conduct a real estate meeting when the alleged assault took place.

After an investigation, Rony Lazar of Milton was arrested and charged with one count of sexual assault.

Police said Lazar currently works as a real estate agent in the Mississauga area and provides career and investment counselling for prospective realtors.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Brampton in September.

Officers said the investigation is ongoing and they believe there may be additional victims.
