Ministry of Labour investigates after man dies at Taylor Steel in Stoney Creek

The Ministry of Labour is investigating the death of a 54-year-old man at a Stoney Creek steel processing plant.

Hamilton police responded to an emergency call on July 16 after 10 a.m. at Taylor Steel processing plant on 425 Arvin Ave.

Emergency crews transported the man to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The man’s name has not been released and the cause of his death has not been announced either.

The ministry is acting as the lead investigating agency on the case. Hamilton police and paramedic services told CHCH News they would not be handling the investigation.
