Teachers are awarded for their ability to inspire and motivate students and provide meaningful support through physical or health education.

One of Trojanovic’s nominations says she has contributed to the growth of physical and health education in the Halton District School Board and beyond.

“Her focus on building capacity with educators has been an integral part of providing quality programming, advocacy and student engagement,” the nomination reads.

Trojanovic says she hopes to continue making a difference for students and staff.
