Mayor Horwath discusses the issues surrounding Hamilton streets

Hamilton mayor Andrea Horwath joined Annette Hamm this morning to further discuss some of the issues and things going on in Hamilton.

First up was the topic of homeless encampments and the proposal about creating encampment zones and how to help the people dealing with the opioid and homeless crisis.

While people are living on the streets, there is also a lot happening on the streets in terms of traffic. Mayor Horwath gave an update on the LRT and if there is any time frame, as well as talked about when the Main St. and King St. conversions would happen to turn those streets into two-way.
