Man in hospital with serious injuries after Fort Erie ATV crash

A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a vehicle struck him as he was riding an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) in Fort Erie Wednesday morning.
Police have identified the rider as a 64-year-old man from Port Colborne.
Emergency crews responded around 11:45 a.m. to the collision on Point Abino Rd. North near Fox. Rd.
Paramedics say the man suffered a serious head injury after being hit by a black Ford Expedition vehicle while he was riding an ATV.

He was transported to a local hospital, where an Ornge air ambulance then brought him to an out-of-town trauma centre for treatment.
The man reportedly remains in an out-of-town hospital in serious, life-threatening condition.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit attended the scene and police say the investigation into this collision is ongoing.
Investigators appeal for footage from residents in the area with security cameras, as well as from drivers with dash-cameras.
