Halton police have arrested a man from Brantford following a stolen vehicle investigation, which also resulted in a drug bust in Oakville.

On Monday, officers observed a 2018 Audi S5 in the area of Hyde Park Gate and Dundas St. West in Oakville.

Police determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen and re-vinned, meaning that the VIN attached to the vehicle has been fraudulently fabricated to make it appear as though it is not stolen.

Investigators arrested the man around 8 p.m. last night as he returned to the vehicle.
