Man arrested for allegedly taking up-skirt photos at Halton drug store

First Published:

A 37-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly taking photos up the skirts and dresses of women at a Burlington Shoppers Drug Mart location.

Halton police say they dispatched to the store on New Street on June 25, after receiving reports of suspected voyeurism.

He fled before officers arrived on scene, but police were able to locate him on Thursday following an extensive investigation.

Police say Mohammed Abdals El-Sheikh of Etobicoke is connected to seven separate incidents of voyeurism at this location.

He is now facing a total of eight charges.

Halton officials believe there may be more victims, and are asking anyone who may have been victimized by El-Sheikh to contact Constable Samantha Di Simoni at 905-825-4747 ext 2385.
