Maintenance work fully closes Hamilton’s Linc for nearly 4 days

Hamilton’s Lincoln Alexander Parkway is scheduled to be fully closed for nearly four days starting Friday.

Beginning Friday, May 24 at 8 a.m., the eastbound lanes will be closed from Golf Links Road to the Upper Red Hill Valley Parkway off-ramp.

The westbound lanes from the Red Hill Valley Parkway to Mohawk Road will be blocked off that same day but at 10 a.m. instead.

Drivers can detour on Mohawk Road and Stone Church Road.

The Linc is expected to reopen on Monday, May 27 at 4 a.m.

The city says the maintenance work taking place will include asphalt repairs, bridge and signage repairs, vegetation maintenance, pavement markings, graffiti removal and more.

All work is weather permitting.
