Hamilton became known as “The Electric City” after becoming the first Canadian city to receive AC electricity, one of Nikola Tesla’s many inventions. Celebrate the incredible technological achievements of Nikola Tesla at the Tesla Electric City Festival.
Engage with commercial exhibitors, tech enthusiasts, hobbyists, science clubs, artists and students and experience demonstrations and performances. Catch a ride on the popular miniature steam trains presented by the Golden Horseshoe Live Steamers. See the oldest Canadian-made steam engines and learn about the importance of clean water to growing communities during a self-guided tour of the Museum.
This event is presented by the Nikola Tesla Education Corporation, in partnership with the Hamilton Museum of Steam & Technology.
