Tour Guys offers the “Invisible Renaissance” – A WALKING TOUR that combines downtown history and heritage with local insights and stories.
Book a downtown Hamilton heritage tour this summer Thursdays through Sundays 1pm-2:30pm.
Cost: There is a $6 administrative booking fee to guarantee your spot on the tour, and you are encouraged to tip your guide what you feel the tour was worth at the end. Most guests tip $10 per person, some even more. Our guides work very hard for tips, and you are guaranteed you’ll have a GREAT tour!

Starting at the iconic 1920s era art deco Hamilton GO Centre, this walking tour through the centre of the city is a journey through Hamilton’s rise as an industrial powerhouse, fall into urban decay as many industries closed, and recent re-birth as a centre for research, the arts, and thriving local businesses. Though the focus is primarily on history, the idea is to put the present day into context and we’ve designed this tour to appeal to both residents and visitors.
