The Bursary of Hope for Autism is an Ontario registered, non-profit organization, entirely volunteer-driven dedicated to raising funds to support families struggling to get ABA therapy for their children with autism. We partner with Behaviour Innovations a private company that provides ABA services to children in Hamilton Burlington and surrounding areas.
ABA can cost families between $30,000 and $60,000 a year. Although the Ontario government offers some publicly funded programming, the waiting list is long and does not cover all of the costs leaving many children and their families without support.
With annual events like our gala, we seek to raise funds for those patients who do not have access to government funding – so they can get the care they deserve.
