Kingsman: The Secret Service is the latest stylish action adventure from director Matthew Vaughn. The film is based on the comic book series “The Secret Service” written by Mark Millar, who also wrote the series “Kick-Ass” which was adapted by Vaughn, so clearly these guys like working together. The film stars Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Strong, Taron Egerton, and Michael Caine.

Based upon the acclaimed comic book and directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass, X-Men: First Class), Kingsman: The Secret Service tells a story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined, but promising street kid into the agency’s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.

After the filming of X-Men: First Class wrapped up, Vaughn was asked to stay on and direct last year’s X-Men: Days of Future Past but instead chose to leave that franchise for now and work on Kingsman. In an interesting marketing move, luxury retailer Mr. Porter was tasked with making all of the costumes and apparel used in the film, all of which can be purchased from the company. Now if only Marvel would make officially licensed Iron Man suits for public purchase.

Kingsman: The Secret Service is rated 14A.
