Kawartha Dairy coming to Burlington

First Published:

A popular ice cream company says it will be setting up shop in Burlington later this year.

Kawartha Dairy announced on Facebook that it plans to open up its first brick-and-mortar shop in the region.

Currently, those craving for a scoop of ice cream have had to settle with finding the company’s products on the shelves of their local grocery store.

That’s set to change for those living in and around Burlington.

The Bobcaygeon-based company says they’ll be opening a new store on Fairview Street that should be ready by this spring.

Kawartha Dairy produces a line of standard dairy products like milk, cream and butter — but they’re best known for their ice cream.
