1 person dead following collision that closed Jolley Cut

One person is dead and three more are injured following a multi-vehicle collision which closed the Jolley Cut closed in both directions.
Authorities were called to the scene shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Upon their arrival, paramedics pronounced one male, believed to be in his 20s, dead at the scene.
Another male in his 20s was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition.
Two other men were also taken to hospital, one who was in “serious but stable condition” and another man in his 60s who had minor injuries.
Police are referring to the incident as “serious” and said that it involved two vehicles.
Officers with the collision reconstruction unit were on scene at the time of the crash, but the area has since cleared.
