Jewish communities worldwide mark the beginning of Yom Kippur

Jewish people around the world will gather with friends and family tonight for the start of Yom Kippur, the most important and sacred religious holiday in Judaism.

However, for many, the holiday comes with heavy hearts this year as Israel continues its deadly incursion into Gaza and now Lebanon.
