Israeli military carries out ‘complex’ rescue operation to free hostage from Hamas captivity

In a rare moment of joy in this tragic 10-month war, one of the original hostages taken by Hamas during their invasion on October 7th, has been rescued.
The Israeli military says that the 52-year-old was saved after complex operation was carried out in the southern Gaza Strip.
