HWDSB delivers final recommendations to fight bullying, sparked by stabbing death of Devan Selvey

A wide-ranging report into bullying in Hamilton’s public schools has found three out of five students say they’ve been bullied at least a few times in the last year.
And at times, a culture of fear has prevented people from reporting bullying or doing something to stop it.
The findings are part of a final report being delivered by the safe school’s review panel,
which was set up after the death of hamilton’s teen Devan Selvey at Sir Winston Churchill high school in 2019.
