Hundreds are set to attend the upcoming second annual Women in Business Expo on Friday, March 8, 2024 in Brantford.

The expo was started in 2023 as a way to celebrate International Women’s Day and women in the ever-growing business world.

“We hold the event on International Women’s Day because it’s a day of celebrating women all over the world in different ways with all different types of events,” said Sam Gernhart (above, right), owner of Clarity Marketing and Design and organizer of the event. “In our community we do it with the Women in Business Expo which is part tradeshow and part guest speakers’ series.”

Gernhart noted that she was inspired to create the expo after recognizing that there was a gap in the community for an event like this.
