Toronto police say the death of a man whose body was found in Burlington last month is now being treated as suspicious.
The body of 25-year-old Ayoub Mohamed was discovered along the Lake Ontario shoreline on Mar. 24.
Police say an autopsy was conducted last Friday and the Homicide Unit is now investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
Mohamed had been previously reported missing by his family in Toronto on March 11. He was last seen getting into a dark-coloured SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Equinox.
