I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of people suddenly powered up their blu-ray players, and were suddenly silenced.
You can now own last year’s smash hit Star Wars: The Force Awakens on DVD, Blu-ray, and Digital HD.

When you pick up the blu-ray release of The Force Awakens, you’re actually getting two films for the price of one. Included in the package is a four part feature length documentary titled Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey that sheds light on some behind-the-scenes details including casting, effects work, and more. Also included are six deleted scenes and six shorter featurettes; The Story Awakens: The Table Read, Crafting Creatures, Building BB-8, Blueprint of a Battle: The Snow Fight, ILM: The Visual Magic of the Force, and John Williams: The Seventh Symphony. It’s an impressive amount of supplemental content, but Disney is definitely holding some back for future re-releases. Hopefully we can get a full length table read sometime down the road.
