Hip dysplasia in infants

It’s hard to imagine the way you carry a newborn or wrap a baby in a blanket could impact their early physical development.

But anything that forcibly straightens an infants legs increases it’s risk of hip dysplasia. A condition requiring surgical treatment in 3 of every thousand births. Maria Hayes explains.
