HHS Urgent Care Centre to close Christmas, New Years Day

Hamilton Health Sciences will be closing its west end Urgent Care Centre on Christmas and New Years Days as it continues to grapple with resource shortages.

This follows years of similar closures of the site at 690 Main St. on such days due to what HHS has called low patient volumes and high physician pressures.

The centre is expected to remain open throughout the remainder of the holiday season.

Despite the closure of the HHS facility, the St. Joseph’s Healthcare Urgent Care Centre will remain open for those requiring urgent care services on each of those days.
