Hear about the memory and significance of the No. 2 Construction Black Battalion

It was last year when we first learned about Canada’s Black Battalion. They were a group of Canadian service men that served in the WWI. They were called The Black Battalion and before they could even face the enemy they had to battle racism and discrimination right here at home. Senator Calvin Ruck is credited with bringing the Battalion’s story forward, and his son Douglas joined us this morning with more on the memory and significance of the No. 2 Construction Battalion.
